Passing

There are two main types of passing in football. For example short and long passing. Short passing is a pass between 10-20 yards along the floor to the players feet. The long pass is a pass from 30 yards and more. It’s a pass that can be played along the floor or in the air.

This is a simple technique on kicking the ball in a straight line. Slowly pushing the side of your foot into the middle of the ball. This technique is mainly the best one because it’s simple and easy to learn.

I think I am good at this pass/ technique because I can use the technique easily and successfully to pass the ball in a straight line to the teammate. I can use this well because I have good balance and I am able to keep up and pass it accurately.

Strengths: I can accurately pass the ball to a player and pick out a pass from close in and far away on a pitch. I can pick out a pass with the right amount of power for the ball to be able to stop in a good position for the player to turn with it or to touch it down easily.

Weakness: I need to improve on the flight of the ball so the player doesn’t have to adjust his body to touch down the ball. Also I need to learn to adjust the curve on the ball when the wind has picked up on the pitch.
