Dribbling in football is a skill that a lot of players adapt to so it is easier to play the ball up the pitch. There are different types of dribbling using all the parts of the foot. For example a player can use inside, outside and soul of your foot. It’s used in small compact areas to find space to pass the ball of or shoot.
I can improve my dribbling by getting better at my first touch so I can move the ball more frequently and confidently in between players. These are the most simple techniques when dribbling with the ball. When using the soul of the foot to dribble with it’s mainly used when a player is pressing the man with the ball in large areas.
Strengths: I am good at using all parts of my foot to dribble with in areas of need. I can hold off a player when on the ball successfully.
Weakness: I need to improve how to move the ball faster with all parts of my feet. I could improve on how to move the ball through players when on the ball to make space. I need to improve Getting the ball in tighter spaces and hold the ball up with more than one player attacking the ball.
